Whanganui Funeral Notices

Born 16/1/1946 in Coulsdon, Surrey, England and passed away peacefully 24/7/2021 at Whanganui Hospital.

Richard worked in a variety of positions within the Education sector over the years and was Reprographics Manager for the Whanganui Polytechnic.

He was self employed as a freelance web designer.

Richard is survived by his wife Sue, and his two daughters, Sally, and Jen.

Also his sister Sally-Ann Rolls and three nephews, Will, Ollie and Ed (UK).

In accordance with his wishes, Richard was quietly farewelled by his family and close friends on Tuesday 27th July 2021.

On 5th August 2021 after a brave battle, aged 83 years.

Dearly loved husband of Mary. Much loved father of Alison and Brendon. A loved brother,

brother in law and uncle. Special thanks to the staff of Trinity Rest Home, Hawera and Patea Doctor’s surgery for their care of Jim.

Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Jim’s life in the Waverley Rugby Club Rooms, Chester Street, Waverley on Tuesday 10th August 2021 at 2.00pm, to be followed by interment in the Waverley Cemetery.

Peacefully at Jane Winstone Retirement Village on Wednesday 4th August 2021, aged 83 years.

Dearly loved wife of Russell for over 60 years.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Margaret in St Mary’s Catholic Church, Guyton St on Tuesday 10th August 2021 at 1.00pm, to be followed by interment at the Aramoho Lawn Cemetery.

The family extend an invitation to join them for Rosary for Margaret in the Church on Monday evening at 5.30pm.

Selwyn passed away peacefully early Tuesday 27th July 2021.

Beloved husband of Juliet, role model and adored father of Gerald and Bridget, cherished and admired brother of Barry and the late Robin, loved and respected father-in-law of Ronnie and Paula, inspirational Grandad to Emily and Sarah, ingenious ‘Ganda’ to Sammie, legendary uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on 26th July 2021 in Wanganui, aged 74 years.

Heather is survived by Kevin, her loving and devoted husband of 44 years. Beloved mother of Steven, and Kelly; and step-mum of Clarke, and Luanne. Mother-in-law of Jennifer, and Paula; Grandmother of Ratu, Evelyn, and Sinead; sister of Bruce, Glenys, and Alister; as well as many loving nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
