Loving Nana and GG of Krystal and Regan, and Dylan and Abbey; Jamie, Sean, Robbie, Francesca, Mackenzie, and Jahziah; Joshuwa and Misty; Carter, and Reed; Michelle, and Bryce.

A service to celebrate Eleanor's life will be held in the Cleveland Chapel, 179 Ingestre Street, Wanganui on Saturday 1st May 2021, at 1:30pm.

Passed at home on Saturday 24th April 2021, aged 65 years.

Loved son of the late George and Joyce Renata and son in law of the late Jack and Sylvia Condon. Loving husband of (the late) Vanessa. Much loved father and father in law of Andre and Nicky, Josephine and Charlie, and Lee and a much loved Koko to all his moko. A loved brother, brother in-law, uncle and cousin to the Renata and Condon families.

Lionel will arrive at the Raetihi Marae on Thursday 29th April, at 10:30am for his service.

This will be followed by interment at the Raetihi Cemetery with his beloved wife.

A lovable man who never let the truth get in the way of a good story. He was much loved and will be incredibly missed by those who knew him. His wife Jude, his children, their partners and grandchildren. His brother, sisters, extended family and many many friends. Those who remember him from the City Mission luncheons and the Men’s Shed.

Thanks to all those who helped in his care and ended up loving him too; Dr Willem, The Hospice, and his loving band of carers as we all laughed with him during these months, as we cared for him.

We will spend his last day and night at Te Manuao, Ratana Pa.

Te Māia's Funeral service will be at 11.00am, Friday 23rd April at Te Manuao, followed by whakamoemiti at Te Temepara, then our final farewell will be held at the Aramoho Crematorium.

Everyone is welcome to join the whanau back at Te Manuao, Ratana Pa for Hākari at 3.00pm.
