Loved Koro of Daniel (Nelson), Kelly (Perth, Western Australia), Chase(Warkworth) & Brooklyn (Picton).

Koroua nui of many who loved him much.

Loved & respected son in law of the late Matiu & Sue (Huhana) Rukuwai, brother inlaw of Iriaka & the late Wayne Rukuwai, Joseanna & Peter Goodhall, the late Rewi, David & Chrissie Rukuwai and Jasmine and Chris Alexander.

Aged 82.

His service will be held at Waikawa Marae, Waikawa, Picton at 11.00am, Thursday 1st June, 2023 followed by a private family cremation in Blenheim.

The service will be live-streamed by Sowman Funeral Directors, Blenheim.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving whanau, on Sunday 28th May 2023, aged 87 years.

Passed away peacefully on Monday 22nd May 2023, in Whanganui after a short illness, age 90.

Daughter of the late Hepi Paul and Hine Paul (nee Rerekura)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mum, Ani Paul.

Ani slipped away surrounded by friends and whanau on Saturday 20th May.

She is the much-loved best friend and partner to Jack, cherished mum to Charis & Barry, Dallas & Tara, Lauren & Peter, Daena, Keely & Courtney and dearest sister to Jenny & Sigley, JP & Jean.

A loving Nana to Olivia, Sayge, Kahuroa, Tui, Sunny, Sartaj, Lee, Max, Putiputi, Harveer, Nikau & Ihaka.

Aunty and Great-Aunty to many, Ani was also much loved by Luke, Amber and Che, Janice and the late Ariana and will be missed by her tauira and friends at Whanganui High School.

Many thanks to her sons in law and Hospice Whanganui for all their wonderful care.

We invite friends to join us in celebrating her life at Dempsey & Forrest, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui, on Monday 22nd of May at 1.00pm.

She will then be laid to rest with her mum at Aramoho Cemetery.
