On Saturday 15th June 2024, at Whanganui Hospital, our loved Dad and Koko Te Aute Poharama Pirikahu Jnr (aka Tap) passed away peacefully, aged 76.
Son of the late Te Aute Poharama Pirikahu Snr. and the late Wikitōria Te Atarau Rangirunga Phillips (Wiki).
Brother of Marcia Williams, the late Ronald Kingi, Jacob, Wayne, the late Dean, Alec, Cecelia Maguren, Sam and Ivy.
Husband to the late Angela Joy MacDonald-Foreman.
Father to Tarah and David Elers, Ta Piri and Chon, Sapphira and Kane, and Kerry.
Koko to Luka, Tora, Zak, Reef, Te Aute, Jiraiya, Raiden, Izanami, Sophia, and Great-Koko to Paora and Amaia.
Dad is lying in state at home.
We will farewell him at the Waverley Community Centre/Border Rugby Club Rooms, Chester Street, Waverley, on Tuesday 18th June 2024 at 11:00am, to be followed by a private cremation at the Aramoho Cemetery.
Light refreshments will be available after the Service.
We would like to give a special shout out to our Pirikahu Whānau, the Fonterra Work Whānau, Paranihi-Haami Whānau, Korene, Toko and Ngaraima, and the Waverley Community.
