Loved husband of Ruth, dad to Matt and Kylie, grandad to Sienna and Millie, brother of Pam and brother-in-law of Helen.

Bill is now 'sailing on the cool and bright clear water' - with a glass of rum in his hand, the sun on his face, and the wind on his back.

In accordance with Bill's wishes a private celebration of his life will be held.

Born 18th February 1948, passed away peacefully on 10th July 2023 at Hospice Whanganui, surrounded by his loving whānau.

Son of Wiremu Te Morehu Sunny Te Utupoto Teki and Irene Sophia (née Steele), loved dearly by his seven brothers & seven sisters.

He uri whakaheke nō Ngāti Ruaka, nō Ngāti Hine, nō Ngāti Rangi, me ngā karangatanga hapū o Rānana, o Tūwharetoa, o Te Āti Haunui a Pāpārangi, o Ngāti Apa, o Ngāti Raukawa.

He mokopuna hoki nō Ngāti Tūmatauenga, 1 Battalion RNZIR, Victor 6 COY.

Beloved husband of Jula-Maraea ‘Sugar’ Teki (nee Tuka), adored father of Kala-Jula Dudson, Alaina Teki-Clark and Melody Teki.

Father-in-law to Kevan Dudson, the late Kelly Clark, Sosaia Fisilau, and Lionel Houltham.

Koroua of Maraea-Jula, Grayson, Tanea, Sunny, Sarah, Kelly, Freeman, Kaya, Kauri, Kimiora, Merenia and Tayla. Tupuna koroua of George, Marnie and Koda.

Sunny is with his whānau at Koriniti Marae, where his tangi is being held.

Final service is at the marae on Thursday 13th July 2023, at 10.00am.

Peacefully at home after a short illness on Monday 3rd July 2023, aged 85 years.

Now with his daughter Tracy, passed 2009.

Dad is lying at Kaiwhaiki Marae until his funeral service which will be held at the marae on Monday 10th July 2023 at 11.00am, followed by interment at the Aramoho Lawn Cemetery.
